Most adults seek therapy when they feel that “something just isn’t quite right” in their lives. Therapy is a way to move beyond the stagnant situation that you find yourself in, and reach the possibilities that are within you. In a compassionate and safe environment, we will be able to explore the issues that are on your mind, while working towards better relationships with yourself and those around you.

We offer psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families. Therapy is confidential and is carried out in a safe and comfortable setting. We welcome people of all backgrounds to our practice and have a great interest in working with multicultural, diverse clientele.

Benefits and Risks

Psychotherapy has the potential to positively change your mood, by reducing your anxiety, improving your depression, and helping you feel empowered to make the right decisions for yourself. It can help you gain acceptance of yourself while helping you to recognize and build on the strengths and capabilities you already possess.

Many people make great changes in their lives as a result of therapy by exploring the issues that have been getting in their way. This exploration can be painful at times, and it takes courage and dedication on your part. You may experience feelings of vulnerability, shame, anger, and sadness as part of the process of change. However, you will not be alone in this, as we will be engaging with you in order to help you understand, make sense of, and grow from your experience.

Finding the Right Therapist for You

Finding a therapist with whom you feel comfortable and safe is essential to being able to open up about the things that are upsetting you. We use a compassionate, thoughtful, and engaged approach. We will work collaboratively to discover new ways to live a more satisfying life. If we are not the right therapists for you, or feel that you would benefit from a different approach or speciality, we would be happy to give you referrals to other mental health practitioners.

We see clients for 50 minute sessions once a week. Depending on your particular situation, this number of sessions and frequency can change. We will decide on this during our first few meetings and can reassess during the course of our work together.

Changing Perspectives. Reclaiming Yourself.
